Portland Oregon Photographer FAQ

  • If you have a particular location in mind for portraits, great! If not, we have tons of suggestions. We’ve put together a blog post about locations for portraits in the Portland Metro area. While the post is aimed at senior photos, it also applies to family and engagement portraits!

  • You’ll notice at the top of this page a list of everything included in the base Portrait Session. Once we show you the beautiful portraits we’ve created, you get to choose what you want to order. We don’t have any complicated print packages; just order what makes you happy. You can see sample print prices (these are prior to whatever discount comes with your package). How much people spend on reprints and digital files depends on the client, but can range from $250-2000.

  • We love working with people who don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera. Why? Because we get to help you relax, enjoy yourself, and see how beautiful you are. We’ve done this hundreds of times, and we’ll help you relax and have fun too.

  • Social media or web-resolution digital files are sized to look great on screens, but not for printing. Printing requires hi-resolution digital files. Our social media/web-res files look great on screen. But they are not intended for print, and don’t include printing rights.

  • Each of our portrait photography packages has a discount included in it: you get a 10% discount on print products at your in-person Portrait Reveal and Ordering meeting (prints, wall hangings, and portrait albums). Just order what you want (no complicated packages) and get the discount!

From high school senior photos, to children and family portraits, to engagement portrait sessions, FritzPhoto’s portraits are creative, personal, different. As award-winning Portland portrait photographers, we photograph portraits all over Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Vancouver, and anywhere else you need us!  Our portrait sessions are usually shot on location: at a local park, your home, a favorite place in Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas. We can also shoot them in a gorgeous light-filled studio for a $120 studio fee.  High school seniors are welcome to bring a friend or prop along. There are no limits to ‘poses’ or ‘looks’, no rush, no gimmicks.  We work with you to create unique, artistic portraits. Every portrait session is tailored to fit, and the resulting images will take your breath away.

*REPRINTS AND ENLARGEMENTS:  Our professional prints, portrait books, and wall collections come in many sizes and styles, starting at only $20. (The final price may be lower, based on your package's first order discount.) We offer a full line of professional enlargements, custom books, canvas wall prints and collections, metal prints, 3D prints, framing, digital files, and more, for purchase.  Rather than forcing you to buy a complicated package in sizes and quantities you don’t want, we simply let you choose exactly what you want!  You can visit a sample web gallery to view print pricing.
