This is the final installment in my series on the Beneficio de Cafe of Abraham Castillo, shot in Esteli, Nicaragua. (Please view the previous two posts: The First, with introduction, and the Second.)

Abraham continued to open his shop and home to me, with open arms, and it was a delight to photograph there numerous times. He processes not only coffee, but also beans and corn, through his machines. There’s always something happening, customers and workers coming and going, dust in the air (I joked with him the other day, saying that sometimes I think he’s actually running a dust factory, at which he laughed heartily), and the hospitable offer of a refresco (the refreshing–if sweet–Nicaraguan concoction made of fresh tropical fruit juice, water, and sugar), or coffee.
