Sometimes small and simple makes for beautiful results. Rachael and Jonathan’s wedding, at the Marshall House in Vancouver, Washington, sure proved this to be true. As a wedding photographer, the evening was ideal: beautiful location, beautiful light, and beautiful people. The results: one of the most beautiful sets of portraits I’ve probably ever created at a wedding. From the bride and groom, to children, to guests…a gorgeous set of portraits. With hair and makeup work by AJ’s Hair and Makeup Design, people were ready for photos!
This last image is of my dad telling a joke to the groom’s brother and fiance. It’s actually pretty good. The bride had just tossed her bouquet to the single ladies present. My dad suggested that for the groom, instead of tossing the garter, he should be tossing his address book to all the single men present.
Ah, wedding stories. We love telling them. As some of the more experienced Vancouver wedding photographers, we love photographing weddings at Marshall House!
