Love In Action

Doesn’t that lady have one of the best smiles in the entire world?  That’s my wife. Some of my favorite work involves photographing children in orphanages.  These kids have had rougher lives by age 4 than most of us have in a lifetime.  So having a day or a week to play with, talk with,...

I’m pleased to announce the publication of my series Benificio de Cafe in the current issue of Lenswork Magazine Extended. Lenswork’s print edition has, in my opinion, the finest reproductions of black and white images of any photography magazine out there.  And their Extended editions (available on CD and digital download for your iPad) are...

Crystal and Destiny on the Beach in Florida

FritzStock--4856 Portland Model Photographer

Boys bathing and playing in a rain-swollen stream in the mountains of Haiti.

fritzphoto - Thank you, Rebecca. I’m glad you enjoyed the photographs of Haiti. And I’m glad you enjoyed your time there. I think Mission Haiti is a wonderful group of people!

Rebecca DeWit - I just finished looking at your pictures and narrative and am amazed at how the experience of traveling to Haiti touches each of us in the same way. I traveled with Ronna, the last person that commented on your blog, and 9 other Americans on a journey to Mission Haiti this October. It was fabulous. I tried to capture the experience on my camera….love the pictures….but they are not quite as stunning as yours! You captured the experience beautifully! Thank you for sharing your stunning photos. (We did medical clinics, VBS, spent time at the orphanage and with the youth group. I also did some education for two deaf children and their families in the area.)

Ronna Teunissen - Your pictures are amazing! I just returned from TiRiviere myself and really enjoyed reading about your experience there. Thanks for sharing!
