High School Senior Portrait Photography in and around Portland, Oregon

Hayden’s Senior Portraits * Portland Senior Pictures

I had a great time photographing Hayden Richardson’s senior photos in the October sunshine this past week, in Northeast Portland.  Hayden’s a lot of fun to work with and talk with, and has an interest in photography, among other things.  And man, did we luck out with the perfect fall weather for a senior portrait...

Kate’s Portraits in the Gorge * Portland Senior Portrait Photography

Kate lives in the Columbia River Gorge, in Corbett, and goes to Corbett High School.  So it’s no surprise that she wanted to have her senior portrait photography out in the Gorge as well.  She came in to the studio to have her hair and makeup done, and then we headed out to the Historic...

Shirley Lund - Kate’s eyes are beautiful. I really like the tunnel image and the way it frames her.

George | Postcards - Gorgeous shots! I like how the light touches her hair, it is very natural and I also like Kate’s smile.. very irresistible. :)

Mariah’s Senior Portraits * Portland Senior Portrait Photography

Mariah called me from Molalla, asking about unique senior portraits.  She said she didn’t want pictures that looked like those of all her friends at school; I told her I could help her out with that.  And it wasn’t hard–she’s pretty, funny, and laughs a lot, which makes taking beautiful, unique portraits that much easier!She...

fritzphoto - Shawna, there are lots of great urban locations in the area. I’m always on the lookout for them. Consider Portland’s eastside industrial area, or NW Portland near the Fremont bridge, or other historic areas that haven’t yet become popular.

I’d encourage you to take one of my classes at Pacific NW College of Art. Coming up: Studio Lighting, and then Location Portraits. Also check into Newspace Center for Photography.

Shawna - Hi there. I saw that one of my friends has “liked” you on FB. I was checking out your very nice work. I have recently decided to take my hobby of photography possibly to the next level and make a little bit of money at it. I have a senior who wants pictures and she wants them to look a bit different than everyone else in the Tualatin / Sherwood area. I don’t know a lot of cool urban places yet. I know you said you wouldn’t share your new urban decay spot but what if I ask very nicely and promise not to tell anyone else. It’s totally the look she is after. Thank you for your consideration.
Take care.
Shawna

Elizabeth’s Senior Portraits * Portland Senior Portrait Photography

Senior Pictures Portland Oregon

High school seniors are so fun to photograph!  Elizabeth loved my unique style, and after looking at 20 different Portland senior portrait photographers‘ websites, called me up to make an appointment. In spite of the constant drizzle outside, we had a great time indoors, creating some lovely portraits of this spunky senior from Lincoln High...

Sean Tolan - Fritz,
I can easily see why you are in high demand. Your tonal variations create the appropriate mood…from lighting to color choices you leave no stone unturned, and that is the difference between a snapshot versus a professional piece of art. Thank you for being an inspiration!
